@Succulent_Soul that's not a flower luv, it's another species of cactus that's been grafted onto the dragon fruit cactus. And it's not a parasite, it depends on the dragon fruit cactus because it lacks chlorophyll and would die without it. But it doesn't shorten the life span of the dragon fruit. The top plant will eventually die off, but the dragon fruit cactus can carry on living a normal life afterwards 🤗

@Succulent_Soul unfortunately it would die on its own because it doesn't have any chlorophyll so it can't photosynthesize. It's completely dependent on the bottom cactus for survival 😢
