Aloe questions

My aloe has some leafs like this that have brown tips. Should I trim them off, or leave them be? What’s causing them?

@walshe200221 As someone mentioned above it’s over watering that causes this . I water mine once a month and it’s happy. If it was the sun it would have black specs all over the outer side of the leaves .
I to at one time had that happen and didn’t know what to do. Then it dried up but I was still watering to take care of it. So I hope you and I can get some answers for this. Great question
I trim them off. Ovwrwatering. Not watering enough. Too much sun.
Also too much fertilizer
@planthoe40 I’m watering about every 10 days. Is that too much?
@walshe200221 it depends on a lot of things. I water mine every 2 weeks. I have a bamboo skewer to see if I need to water. I also pay attention to the leaves. Soft leaves need water. Stiff ones don't.
@planthoe40 what does the bamboo skewer do?
@walshe200221 to see if you need to water.
@planthoe40 how does that work?
