Can mike be saved?
I had this plant for maybe a month now. After a week it started to look like this and I have not been able to get it to come back to life. Any suggestions?
5ft to light, indirect
5β pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
@ProlificWeed Hello sorry about your plant . At this point you should just cut it back it will start growing back in two to eight weeks. Ferns need lots of humidity so Iβd put it in a ziplock bag while it recovers. After that youβre going to need to produce humidity either by spritzing daily with water or put a humidifier near it . Iβd say a pebble tray but not sure if it would be enough. If you have patience it will look beautiful again.
ferns like to be damp at all times, along with high humidity, i would recommend cutting it back all the way, investing in a humidifier, and consider a self watering set up, where you have a wick the goes through the drainage hole, and the end the of wick in a water reservoir. make sure to refill the water reservoir when the tip of the wick is no longer in the water, due to the water being so low.
