PLEASE, HELP?!

Im crying out for help here! I cant find any info online about this specifically. This is "Sparrow", my variegated philodendron black cardinal. He's not happy and is giving me leaves that look like thisβ€” [pictured]. What causes this, and how can I fix this?!

ANY info/input would be a GREAT help. Thank you β™‘

I don’t think your plant is in any immediate danger, it looks like leaf unfurling damage, not pests or disease.

In sphagnum, moisture can be really inconsistent (dry on top, wet underneath), which causes this.

Long term, consider moving to an airy mix (bark + perlite + soil) for more stable conditions.
@JenobiBLU Hello! I agree with Kris! @FamedGymealily I would move it to a good light chunky mix and I would also move it a tad bit closer to the window. Mine love light and they love to dry out out between waterings so I would make sure you know that the soil is dry before you water it again instead of going via a schedule or something. Good Luck! OH! And I would clip that leaf off!😊πŸͺ΄πŸŒΊ
@Ponytailmom and @FamedGymealily - thank you guys soooooo much! it started as a TC and just grew well in moss, so I left him in the moss, but I'll def get him transferred into some chunky mix β™‘ Hed been putting off several leaves that looked like that lately and I was getting concerned if its some kind of mineral deficiency or something similar.
