Tomato leaves shriveled up.

I have two tomato plants in pots that get about 6 hours of sun. After heavy rain fall one of them started getting wilty leaves. I assumed it was too much water. But after drying out it continued to worsen. I started cutting off leaves that were extremely wilty and took off a bunch of green tomatoes to save plants energy and hopefully let it recover. So far its not looking like it will make it. Its been about 4 days since it rained and it still looked wilty so I watered it a bit- couldn’t help myself… ugh my poor plant. Any tips?
I know it’s outdoors but you should take the plant and pot it inside a new pot for now if not add new soil and new fertilizer so it can not rot but nurse it for now
Thank you for the suggestion.
