What type of alocasia is this? I think it’s an Alocasia ...

#alocasia #PlantID
most likely an Alocasia ‘Polly’ (African Mask Plant) or a closely related hybrid.
@ChalkyGore the leaves on this one seem a bit rounder to me compared to Polly.
Yeah, I agree that it definitely doesn't look like a Polly. Maybe a Pink Dragon? They have those pinkish stems and petioles.
But you could be on the money with Morocco too 😛
@stephongreg thanks! :) I’m very new to alocasias, so not sure if I’m right about it being Morocco.
@nila if I can offer one recommendation? Using a terracotta pot for an Alocasia will cause the soil to dry out too quickly. Also they're like sponges and they hold onto salts and other minerals, which aren't great for an Alocasia's roots ☺️
@stephongreg ohh I didn’t know that! Thank you for the tip. :) I will see if I have a pot to transfer it to.
I agree with @stephongreg , looks like a pink dragon:)
@Drebsky Thanks! Looking at photos of pink dragon, it does look very similar. The stem on mine is a bit of a paler pink but maybe that just means it isn’t getting enough light or something?
