Will these pieces propogate?

I just went to water this plant and the whole stem was mush! I’m so confused and sad. Do you think the leaves will propogate or is she a lost cause?
2ft to light, direct

@Mama_Jaimekins as long as you mist the tips and soil ONLY and not the entire leaves, it should be okay. If you’d like, you can mist the soil before you place them so they can get their moisture that way :)

I know another way people propagate these is by finding a way to keep them upright and the ends in the soil. If you can figure out a way to keep them up that way, then that’ll be much better to avoid rotting!

Hello! Thanks for the tag! @Indoorgreens

Yes @Mama_Jaimekins those will propagate! Just simply place the cuttings on a tray or pot of soil (don’t bury them, just place them on top) and mist them once a week! I would recommend placing them somewhere they get bright shaded light to avoid scorching! β˜€οΈπŸŒΏβœ¨

Good luck! 🀞🏽😊

Edit: so sorry about your propeller plant! It’s a wish list for me and it makes me so sad yours is struggling😭😭😭 the ones that have the mushy, brown ends may not be successful, but it’s most definitely worth a try! 😁
Hmm as long as the leaves themselves aren’t mush they might! Let them callous and give it a shot!
@kscape I know that this plant doesn’t like to get its leaves wet, so should I really mist them?
@kscape I knew it u know ur plants well hun lol no problem enjoy ur evening hun well is almost 7 here in nj lol
