@NotTodaySucca77 you rescued a Monstera Peru on clearance…That’s not a plant purchase…that’s a redemption…. She’s been through it like a suitcase at Spirit Airlines, but Madi… she’s got potential. Water only when the top few inches are dry don’t baby her. She’s like that one friend who says she wants attention but really just needs space.
(Too much water and she folds faster than a cheap lawn chair at a family BBQ.) Soil = chunky, airy, and well-draining. No dense, muddy stuff. Think: granola, not oatmeal.
(If it feels like brownie batter, you’re already in trouble.) Light = bright indirect. She wants sunshine, not spotlight.
(Put her in direct sun and she’ll crisp up like forgotten fries in the back of the air fryer.) Humidity She’s a tropical baddie. Loves it humid.
(Not Sahara desert vibes. More like “I just steamed dumplings in here” energy.) She climbs! Give her a moss pole or something to lean on.
(Otherwise she’ll flop harder than a bad Tinder date.) No drainage hole? That’s like putting socks on in the shower. Just why.
(Give her a pot that lets things go, emotionally and literally.) Wipe those leaves. They’re shinier than my ex’s excuses I promise .
(A quick clean and she’ll photosynthesize like she just drank a green juice.)
@JungleDreamer lol this response made my day alone 🤣🤣 (TAKE THIS ADVICE ITS TRUE)

@FitBrowallia 😊thank you I try 😅
I’d say prop it after checking roots and soil
@JungleDreamer I never laughed so hard, from beginning to end!! I definitely enjoyed your comparisons! 😉😂
@JungleDreamer I absolutely love your way of giving advice 😂 It was quite comical!
Very nice! I would check the roots and make sure there’s no root rot or pest. They are also easy to propagate in water. Just cut below a node and stick in a vase or cup.
It’s beautiful!
@QueenGriffin51 🤪😃
@SweetAzurebluet I’m glad Harriet
