Cat eating plants

Hi! I have some indoor plants (non toxic for cats) and my cat keeps chewing on the leaves! And tips on getting him to stop? Some are even high and he jumps up there. I read somewhere maybe lemon water being sprayed on plants could deter them but I don’t want to ruin the plants if that’s not the right answer.
@BigSeagrape they hate citrus stuff.

@BigSeagrape here is what it says about the product.
hi there! i have a kitty too, so i hope i can help. lemon/other citrus are hated by cats and safe for plants! you can try spritzing some oil on the leaves, or even leaving some citrus peels on the topsoil. another possibility would be to grow kitty a plant just for them, to satisfy their chewing urges. plants like calathea orbifolia, cat grass, spider plants might be a good place to start. unfortunately some cats are just drawn to plants, so try to observe which plants your cat gravitates towards. for example, my cat loves thinner leafed plants, but really isn’t interested in thicker leaves like my hoyas. so it may come down to avoiding having “tempting” plants accessible. i’ve heard of some people even making a dedicated plant room and keeping the door closed when they’re gone to avoid nibbles haha. you could also try to keep some plants in a glass cabinet/mini indoor greenhouse as a last resort. sometimes just plain old playing is a good solution too! a tired cat is a happy cat that most likely won’t have interest or energy in chewing on plants. hope one of these works for you!!
Personally citrus stuff didn't work with my cat, if it also doesn't work with yours, you can try coffee grounds on the soil. It's also a good natural fertilizer
My cat didn't care about the citrus spray I tried he just kept eating 😅 The one thing that sort of worked was the green apple bitter spray (google it) but it doesn't stay forever and my cat is so drawn to plants he'll try again in a couple days to find if the spray wore off. Ultimately I just made a room off limits to my cats & keep most plants in there and plants I keep in the main rooms go up high where he can't get to them. If your cat jumps up it's helpful if you do hanging plants or make sure there's nothing nearby he can use to jump up and get leverage to get higher
Thank you all so much for the advice!
