Is there any saving my calathea?

When I first brought her home she was beautiful. The soil didn’t look so great so I put her into new soil, which I’m thinking is what the cause of this is.
Is she in shock? How can I fix this? I know these are very delicate plants to care for, needs humidity and such. But it’s been about a week like this so I’m getting worried that it’s ruined. #CalatheaCrew

@LeafMeBe97 how dry is your soil right now? Have you watered her recently?
@DreamMachine I did when I repotted about a week ago, and then today again just to make sure it’s getting proper water. My thought was maybe the leaves are needing some more
@LeafMeBe97 it is probably shock. It needs some time to get the roots to recover from the repot.
It might help putting the leaves in a plastic bag and misting the inside of the bag. That way the leaves will be able to get the water they need from the air while the roots recover. Also avoid direct sunlight and heaters and drafts.

I do think it will recover, as long as you make sure the soil doesn't dry completly out, or stay too moist. It might take some time though, but you can do it😊πŸ’ͺπŸͺ΄

(Also for info this is a 'Beauty Star', not a 'Pinstripe', although they are very similarπŸ˜„)
@MockingJay thank you for this!! (And for the correct name πŸ˜…) so far I make sure the soil is all good & put a humidifier next to it and it’s verrrrrryyyyy slowly opening πŸ˜‚ thank you again
@LeafMeBe97 you are very welcome😊 We have our fingers crossed πŸ˜„πŸ€ž Looking forward to an update when she is her beautiful self againπŸ˜„πŸ˜‰
*UPDATE* you guys won’t believe this. Or at least I can’t, 5 hours next to a humidifier and almost all the leaves are open and looking great again, (most of them) and now putting an indoor grow light on for a small period of time.
@LeafMeBe97 @MockingJay Yep! Agree with everything Veronika said, and WOW!! That is awesome πŸ‘πŸΌ yay 😁
@LeafMeBe97 WOW that is amazing! 🀩 All she needed was a bit more water/humidity for her leavesπŸ₯°
@MockingJay I definitely had to chop some leaves off because I think since they were curled in for a week or so they developed a kind of fungus so now just a lot more TLC
@LeafMeBe97 good call. Usually some leaves have to go in these situations.
Hopefully she will make new ones in no time😊
