Do I need to repot this plant. Never grows bigger

#Dracaena
0ft to light, direct
5” pot with drainage

Is it still in the original pot/soil as when you first got it? If so, then a repot *might* be in order to replenish the soil's nutrients. If it's not still in the original pot/soil, repotting probably isn't the answer.

Just because a plant doesn't look like it's growing on the surface doesn't mean it's not growing beneath the surface. Plants go through phases when they'll concentrate on root growth but not as much leaf growth, and vice versa. It's also still technically winter, so it's not their active growing season just yet. Growth slows in the winter and picks up again sometime in the spring/early summer.

One thing you definitely don't want to do is move it to a larger pot (unless it's showing clear signs of outgrowing its current pot), which can lead to overwatering and root rot. Repotting causes a plant stress, and it's rarely the solution for an unhealthy or distressed plant.
I have the same one and it hasn’t grown in years. I looked it up and found that there is a variety of dwarf species. I am thinking that maybe what this is.
This is mine
@ValorousChives Good Afternoon, the Dracaena” Janet Craig” you have is very slow growing. It will grow only a few inches in height. Your Dracaena is very beautiful, there are many more different varieties of Dracaenas, if you want one that gets larger in height. I love Dracaenas, and I have a Dracaena Golden πŸ’š aka β€œElla”, which has grown in size, since I had her.
@MomKat4 She is beautiful! 😍
