Hi Cathy- if your plant id is correct- these guys thrive in bring INdirect sunlight. Direct sun will scorches your plant, and that Florida sun- especially in the afternoon is brutal. Seeing it’s in a stone pot and outdoors- you might have to water it more often depending on your rain(I had rain almost every day in Melbourne- but still had to water more often for my outdoor plants). I live in Texas now and my Pothos are inside in an east facing window- they get am sun and bright light and shade the rest of the day. I hope this helps! If you need more help just ask 😊
