Rot?
My #Echeveria has some less than ideal looking spots on the leaves. Thinking itβs fungal but just hoping for a second opinion on what to do. Thanks!

I would remove them to prevent the spread and also then the plant isn't trying to heal those leaves. I would re-pot to remove current substrate in case the bacteria / fungus is in there, and in case the roots show signs of rot. Cut any dead or mushy roots away. If they are all rotted, you may want to remove healthy leaves to try to propagate. If there are healthy roots left, then sterilize (soap & water, 70% IPA) the pot before you plant the succ back into the pot with FRESH substrate. Make sure the substrate is very well draining, and the pot must have drainage holes. Then, be mindful of watering.
Honestly, I think what happens to a lot of us is the plant has hardened substrate around its roots, and in that area, it stays wet too long, but we don't see it. The surrounding dirt is dry as the desert ποΈ, but the root ball is still moist. Then we water and it stays wet without a dry period. Succulents are difficult if you don't start with cleaned off roots and a great substrate that drains properly without becoming packed hard around the roots. At least this is my experience.

@Plantman69 If it is isolated to only a few leaves, it is potentially bacterial/fungal. But don't discount potential sunburn. If it is exposed to the hottest sun of the day, it is possible the leaves are starting to burn. Only you will know for sure.
@UltraKoreanfir it only gets a few hours of direct so probably bacteria? Is it best to just remove the affected leaves?
