EMERGENCY!!
I just checked my cactus here and i noticed thats its gone a bit grey and skinny, i just watered it on the 17 and it was perfectly fine!! its soil is still a bit moist, whats wrong!!!
2β pot with drainage
Last watered 2 years ago
@PeachyLovage Looks as if itβs over watered. Is the bottom squishy? You might be able to cut the squishy part off, let the the healthy part callous over and then plant it in a well draining cactus mix with coarse sand, perlite, coconut coir, pumice, gravel, chicken grit, and regular garden soil. Happy Growing!!
@Ms.Persnickety nope pretty firm, that was the first thing i checked, but i think im going to check out what @UltraKoreanfir was talking about for now, because i cant find a reason for the shrinking so im going to treat it as dormancy, which i have no experience with⦠i hope i can make him survive!
@PeachyLovage Can you revive a shrunken cactus?
Place it in a well-lit but not too sunny spot. Keep the soil moist but not soggy and water it regularly. It may take a few weeks for the plant to come back to life, but it can happen. If your cactus is dying from too much sunlight, try moving it to a shadier spot. Courtesy of vanish andvine!
