I would consider bacterial infection based on the presentation but low humidity can also cause brown spots…although it tends to affect the tips more.

@FoxyCardoon Denise this is either fungus or pest of some sort. Would recommend a round of Neem oil spray. And quarantine from other plants. I put mine in the tub and keep it there till better.
