Unknown plant

Does anyone know this plant species? I’ve been looking everywhere but I haven’t found a name. I also have a feeling that it’s not doing great, I got this plant a week ago and it wasn’t at its best when I bought it. I transplanted it to this pot (it has drainage) when I got home and now all the leaves are droopy. Do you have any suggestions to fix this? Thanks!!
10ft to light, indirect

This is an aglaonema. They are very susceptible to root rot. That would be my guess here. When you repotted, did you observe the roots? Be sure the soil you have used has excellent drainage- much more than standard potting soil- lots of perlite, cactus soil, rice hulls- all good amendment options. Don’t pot up to larger- pot down to smaller if anything. If the roots have any mush, I’d trim, soak in a fungicide, and water with dilute fungicide until it improves.
Thanks @PolishDill ! When I repotted I checked the roots and there wasn’t any rot. I was thinking that maybe I shouldn’t have repotted it so fast and maybe I overwatered a bit? I have a heavy hand when it comes to watering my plants. I will double check the roots though and try what you suggested if it’s the case. πŸ€—
