Best support for #BlackGoldPhilodendron

Hi! I got a #philodendronmelanochrysum as my mystery plant from #BWHPlantCo and it’s gorgeous! But she’s going to need support soon. And I’m new to planking/poling plants.

What would you recommend for her? She’s less than 1’ tall above the pot and won’t be due for a new pot for probably a month or so. #support #MossPole #help #Philodendron #PhiloFlock #help
3ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage

Beautiful plant! I’d probably go with a bendable moss pole so I could shape it into whatever shape I want. I love this plant!
Shove a piece of bamboo and a hair clip in there until repotting time πŸ€ͺ give yourself some time to find the perfect thing. We tend to google β€œunique potting ideas” for each species around here then whichever child is googling has to research the how and why and the tools we need to do it πŸ‘Œ

I would also wait because anything permanent should really be potted in for stability and to prevent root injury. The taller you go for the pole the more you will need to pot in and over around the 60cm mark (2ft I think) will need a base of some kind to keep it stable because of the loose media these guys prefer
