Wherever you trim off stems, two new stems will grow in its place. So if that's what you want, go ahead and trim it. But if you want it to maintain its current size and shape, I'd just let it grow as is. Either way, it will likely need to be repotted before long to accommodate all the new growth, but they also don't mind being a bit snug in their pots 😊
