Promoting Creeping Charlie Plant

A couple of months ago I got a Creeping Charlie plant. A good majority of the leaves were dead when I brought it home. I’ve cut it back a couple of times to help it grow better but it seems to still be needing something more. I have it under a skylight in my living room and I’ve got tall ceilings. I have it in a self watering pot as well. I added water a couple of days ago. What else can I do to help it grow better? #CreepingCharlie
20ft to light, direct
12” pot with drainage

I would move switch the pot out. Self watering pots are never good. A creeping Jenny likes to dry out between watering.

Here's why I never recommend self watering pots. Self watering pots keep the soil wet. That wet soil is the perfect environment for bacteria to start to grow. After it starts growing it multiplies rapidly. It needs to feed on something, so it starts to eat the plants roots.

This is what causes the dreaded 'ROOT ROT"
@CleanPothos92 Welcome to the Greg community! Here are some key points to consider when taking care of a Creeping Charlie Plant. Light:
Creeping Charlie prefers bright, indirect light.
It can tolerate some shade, but too little light will cause yellowing and leaf drop.
A good location is within 3 feet of a south-facing window.
Watering:
Water when the top inch of soil is dry.
Avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
Maintain slightly moist soil, but not soggy.
Reduce watering during the winter months.
Soil:
Use a well-draining potting mix.
It is recommended to add perlite or vermiculite to regular potting soil to improve drainage.
Fertilizing:
Feed Creeping Charlie monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer during the growing season (spring to fall).
Repot after the plant doubles in size or once a year.
Pruning:
Pinch back Creeping Charlie regularly to encourage bushier growth and remove yellowed or dead leaves.
This plant grows quickly, so pruning helps maintain its size and shape. Hope this helps, Happy Growing!!
