What kind of plant is this? I guessed as this looks vaguely similar to another plant I have. The AI identification failed with the first guess…

And then I search a bit more, and realize it requires a Euphorbia expert.

@thenonnon - that looks like it! I got my plant from a local plant shop and either it wasn't labeled or I tossed the label before thinking about it. The receipt also just gives me a basic succulent purchase so that doesn’t help. Thank you so much!

I'm about 80% confident with my answer lol. It's like...the more you know, the more you realize there is so much more that you don't know. These crested and "monstrose" mutants all kind of look the same at certain points.

Yo...I have felt remiss about this answer, especially after inspecting a few crested Euphorbia yesterday. This plant has those distinguishing Eve's Needle rubbery spikes, and I was coming back to say so lol. Thank you @FairyFly
