When will he start looking like other dragon trees?

Do I trim the bottom leaves so he looks like the dragon trees I see in pictures?

Or just let him be? Iโ€™m afraid he will get so tall and start falling over #HappyPlants #NewPlantMom

This is a very healthy plant! The bottom leaves will begin to die off on their own, and the trunk will get stronger as the plant grows taller. If you fear that the tree is leaning as it grows, you can always add a stake to help keep it upright! Beautiful plant โค๏ธ
@NewGrowth thank you! This helps a lot, because it has lost 2-3 leaves so far!
Alright. Crazy idea here as I look at mine.

I got mine more mature, and it had 4 branches. I chopped and propped two this summer so that they would be varying heights and hey, more plants!

You could wait until growing season and give it a chop and prop. It could allow the bottom piece to focus on new growth/branches (therefore losing the lower leaves faster) and allow the top top to concentrate on growing roots, also allowing it to lose lower leaves faster.

Just a thought as you stare at this gorgeous tree all winter ๐Ÿ˜
