Any ideas what is wrong with my bonsai?

I’ve never had any success with any type of juniper inside, wether it’s bonsai or not, or in direct sunlight. It doesn’t look like an actual bonsai ( matured juniper, cut back over many years to stunt growth) and more like a clipping of of a regular one, and then rooted. Either way, I’ve tried everything to get them to survive indoors and murdered all. So…. If it’s not outside, put it outside, even though those look soo cool indoors. 🫠
Welcome to Greg, Brandi!

I TOTALLY agree with @ccrocco - they'll die every time inside.

They need to be outside and when you water them, water them often and throughly (until the water runs out of the bottom of the pot). If it is outside and in a bonsai pot, do not follow Greg's waterings suggestions: if it's in the sun, I would check on it every other day and be prepared to water it.

If your plant starts to get brown tips, it's too dry and it needs more water or more water and more often.
