Whats happening to orchid
@SteadyTamarillo First of all, Welcome to Greg! It looks like u have it planted in the same pot with a succulent, if that is the case, the is probably ur problem. Orchids need very special growing medium. I can get it anywhere- it should be in regular potting soil and it should be sharing a pot with any other plant, unless itโs another Orchid. They need completely different soil and care. If you just google orchid care, there will be plenty of info- good luck!๐ฟ๐ต
@Ponytailmom is completely right! crassulas need deep infrequent watering that drys out in long stretches, orchids thrive in high humidity, heavy watering and rapid drainage if you water the succulent the orchid dehydrates and if you water the orchid the succulent rots, theyโll definitely need to be separated. one thing tho orchids will die in regular potting mix, if you want to change it to just orchid bark then go right ahead thatโs the most popular but using sphagnum moss is excellent if youโre prepared to keep it fresh as they get compacted quicker then bark :) and just a cacti succulent mix for the crassula hope we could be of help ๐ธ
