I need help 🥲

Does anyone know why my lantana died? The truth is that it's only been 3 weeks and it's starting to dry out and it's supposed to be in direct sunlight. I had it on my balcony in the direct sun but I don't know what happened. I also normally poured water on it when the ground was dry. now it is completely dry and black but I am putting it outside with the direct sun and some plants are growing I don't know what is happening someone help me please, I am going to leave you a picture of how it was before and now. I would greatly appreciate your help if someone knows about lantanas.
