My plant has grown so tall that it can’t stand up straigh...

@skyjaybird ABSOLUTELY. I do this often for many of my plants. You might see it out there described as β€œpinching the tips,” and you can do it by hand, and I do that sometimes but I also use sterilized scissors to cleanly snip off 1/4-1/2” of the tips. Snipping right above a node (where the leaves come out) will encourage new side shoots. You can also trim longer pieces of stem (like between 2”-6”) remove some lower leaves, and propagate those pieces! When they grow roots you can add them back to your pot and then you will have a fuller plant AND it will have more side shoots. 🩢🌿
