Bad roots or just natural aging things ? Someone help.
4β pot with drainage
Last watered 10 months ago
Has the soil been staying moist for long periods of time? Are the roots soft/mushy? Do they smell funny, perhaps like fish? If so, remove the mushy ones, and treat the remaining roots very lightly with peroxide. That's all I know to do if it's root rot ^^' and I haven't seen bromeliad roots, so I'm not sure which color they should be ;v;
@ExecAudreyficus no smell nothing like that. Not mushy.
Very dry and brittle with new white roots seemingly beneath them. Those r the white poking thru. I was very investigative @ExecAudreyficus
@ExecAudreyficus. They serve as an anchor says google and not for nutrient absorption primarily. No worries here itβs not rot. I picked off the bad parts bc itβs seemingly very dry.
Yk gang I figure everything out I need to know the roots are functionless basically itβs a giant air plant and it dies and lets off pups after it flowers. #FlamingSwordBromeliad #pups #iwillavengeyou
