Even though it’s been 26 days, some tulip containers or denser soils can retain moisture for a surprisingly long time—especially in cooler temps or low light. Tulip bulbs are especially prone to rot if they stay too wet.
What to do:
• Wait until the top 2 inches of soil are fully dry before watering again.
• If the pot feels heavy or the roots smell musty, check for drainage issues.
• Make sure your pot has drainage holes and isn’t sitting in a saucer full of water.
