Should I worry?
I noticed the base of my little mesquite tree seems to be more brown and woody than the top, is that something to worry about? I’m not sure how well the picture shows it. #NewGrowth

@ThePurpleMando Hi Gracie! Welcome to Greg! I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. I would think it might mean that the root system is doing well, but I’m no tree pro! If it were mine, that is what I would think so I wouldn’t worry about it 🌺🌸🪴
