Hello beautiful Florence, Italy!
This problem is called Leaf Drop. ☹️
This beautiful China Doll plant is a diva, who doesn’t like changes. Something as simple as relocating, can cause some leaves to shed.
Other Causes for leaf drop:
🌞 Low Light. When it comes to light this diva is like Goldilocks, she wants it just right. Consider getting your plant baby a Full spectrum LED grow light. Or get a Light meter to help determine if it’s getting bright indirect light.
🌑️ Temperature fluctuation. She doesn’t like Draft from windows, or hot or cold air blowing from vents. Her Perfect temperature is 18 C to 24C (or 65-75F) . Any change in temperature and she will have a temperature tantrum and shed leaves. πŸ™ƒ
πŸ’§Under watering can cause green leaves to shed. Use your finger to test the moisture in your plant’s soil. Only water your plant when the top 2.54 -5.08 cm ( 1-2 inches) feels dry, ( that’s the 1st or 2nd knuckle).
▫️Check to see if your plant is root bound. And pest can also cause leaf drop.
πŸ™ I hope your beautiful China Doll will make a speedy recovery.
