Tall and bare money plant?

Does anyone have any tips to encourage my Chinese money plant to grow more filled out? He lost some leaves before I found a good spot for him, but now he seems to be happy (putting out new leaves) but tends to drop an old one with each new growth. Can I repot him in a tall pot to support the stem? Okay to bury him up a bit?? All ideas are appreciated :) #Pilea

Here he is now - new growth but dropped a leaf :(
I think your pilea needs more light. They like bright, indirect light ( mine is on a windowsill that doesn't get direct sunlight). Try moving it closer to a window. You can also cut your pilea stem in half! (topping)The stem with roots will put out new leaves and you can put the cut off top in water and it will sprout roots.
Oh good to know about topping!! I may try that if he doesn’t like his new spot. I’ve moved him into a room that has a big east facing window, covered with a tapestry, so it’s bright but not direct. We’ll see how he likes it. Thanks for your reply!!
