Is it normal to find a slug in my heather just bought it ...

No its not but just remove it and squish it! Id pull it out of the pot

And look at the sides of the root ball.for signs of tunneling or infestation But tbh its pretty doubtful in a potted plant. Prob just the one you saw maybe a couple more but usyally youll see em easily

There are things for slugs but im not famaliar with yhem so i wont give advice on those chemical options But they are out there just fyi

I know ive seen one called slug-b-gone at my local nursery Think its a high yield brand product

@KnowingBaibua coffee grounds (used please, the don’t need caffeine hahah)!! A sprinkle of salt! A dash of cinnamon! Any work as great slug repellent 🤩 another one is diatomaceous earth but I like that better for fleas, ticks, or outdoor garden pest control :) BEST OF LUCK!! Eeek ! What a beauty 🤩✨🌱
