Wrong location?

Hi guys I’m kinda new at this. I got a hosta a few weeks ago from a local plant store and when I did some research it told me to keep it inside with very low light. But today when I downloaded this app it told me to take it outside and keep it in bright direct light. I really don’t want to kill my baby so does anyone have any experience with what would work best?
6ft to light, direct
6” pot without drainage

Hostas like bright indirect light! Keeping him in shade outdoors would make him super happy! I work in a nursery and all of our hostas are under shade with bright sun if that makes sense. Hope this helps!
I put her outside and she almost immediately wilted. I don’t know what to do now :(
@HappySacahuista thank you so much I will definitely try this :)
She in a Terra cotta pot ? They dry out faster and the warmth from the pot will change their appearance. They are mostly in ground shaded areas being outdoor. Mine is in a pot and I water it every three to four days outdoor shaded area.
