Growing Strange
I noticed my plant is growing upward, I repotted it a month ago and Itβs still going. Its leaves are a totally different shape. Below is a before and after, I just want to know what I did wrong and if I can fix it.
0ft to light, direct
7β pot with drainage

Two things, one is that pot is way too big for it. Echeveria have very shallow root systems. After you water, the roots can only absorb what they need, then they're left sitting in excess damp soil. Echeveria like to be snug in their pots, so this one would do best in 3-4" pot max. Also, terracotta pots are the best choice for succulents because they're porous, which helps the soil dry out faster. The second issue is that it's only getting light from one side, which is why it's leaning. Rotate the pot every week or two to even things out and get it to grow straight again.
