Discoloration unknown

I watered my Burrito on Sunday and he took well to it. I just looked at him right now and this is what he looks like! ): He was striving! Help! What does he need? #BurroTailSucculent #SucculentLife

Based on the picture I think that it got rotted somehow! Could be from root rot or perhaps it’s from watering the surface where the water can soak the leaves causing mold? Not too sure but I don’t think there’s any hope saving them now! Overwatering could also chase this paired with not a lot of water as well as incorrect soil so I would research that succulents specific needs and give it another try! Best of luck :)

Note: I do see now that it has rotted from the bottom up which looks more like it was caused from the roots!

Thank you! it was doing soo well just 4 days ago, I also think maybe the heat didnt do it well we've had over 100+ heat these past days. i have it in Succulent Soil and fed it every 4 days.
