How do I make my golden pathos grow?? Stopped at this poi...

I water it about every 10 days… I followed. The app says, I’ve moved it in different locations in my house. But this thing won’t grow!

that’s not a golden pothos! that’s a philodendron 🪴 she might need new soil and more light! chunky soil mix is always the way to go

Matter of fact this is actually Heartleaf philodendron! i would consider taking it out of the pot and inspecting the roots! It could have root rot stunting it’s growth. make sure the pot has drainage. Also, what soil do you use? I’d love to help!

Oh my gosh, thank you guys, I was gifted this a year ago and my friend told me it was a golden pathos. I know nothing about plants! I appreciate the help!

I have no idea where to start with soil, I got indoor plant soil from target and used it when I transferred it into this pot…

@seely that soil should be fine, a lot of people stress for tropical plants you should have a very specific soil mixture, but if you’re looking to be priced affordable, and you’ve just enjoyed the company of your plants, then it should do just fine. I really recommend a miracle Gro indoor house plant potting soil - it’s affordable and contains Spagnam moss, perlite, orchid bark, and other things that really help plants like philodendron! when did you put it into that pot?
