Totally normal, I have alocasia Jacklyn that kept dropping leaves when a new one was growing. From what I gather is that the bulbs isn’t strong/big enough to support 3 leaves so they will continue to drop the oldest leaf when a new one comes. Currently my Jacklyn is putting out a new leaf and hasn’t dropped the older one so fingers crossed. Also they tend to be heavy feeders I recommend fertilizing every 2-3 weeks during spring. Be aware some of these plants go dormant in winter and will sometimes drop all leaves.
