Ti plant recovery tips

My one beautiful cordyline was massacred by spider mites and maybe some under watering. It’s lost most of its leaves but is still hanging on. While I continue to fight the mites I’m wondering if it’s worth saving only the middle stalk (the short one) or if there’s a possibility to save all. It looks like there’s some new growth in progress on all stalks, but the middle stalk is the only one that looks healthy. Any tips?
1ft to light, direct
6” pot with drainage

If it were me, I'd chop off the tops and propagate in water then replant
@LadySugarvine thanks that’s what I was thinking as well. Is it there specific length of stem I should chop at?
@earn just make sure to leave healthy nods to expose to the water. Peal away any of the loose edges around each. I would make them as short as possible to achieve that without allowing any of the leaves to be in the water
