How to prop?

I’ve kept this plat alive for 2 winters now. The first one I had to prune back the plant quite a bit and it flourished inside. It was soooo healthy and bushy, then I placed it on the back patio where it lives during the warm months and I’m pretty sure I shocked it. We are back inside with another heavy prune. I’d love to split this plant up, or at least have a few babies around. What’s the best course? #HappyPlants #Citronella #PropagationStation
6ft to light, direct
9” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 weeks ago
I’ve got two outdoors and they do get leggy if not pruned often. I use those stems for propagation. I cut them into about 8 cm sections, remove the lower leaves, and stick them into soil. After a few weeks they root and start growing. You can also root them in water and transplant once the roots are established.
Thanks for the reply! Pretty straight forward. I learned my geranium is related and I’m propping both the same way. 😊
