Every plant can get sunburnt in the wrong conditions, some are just more hardy than others.

to identify sunburn, you will usually see discoloration on only one part of the plant. It is typically in the form of oranging, browning, or yellowing.

however, in some plants it can be hard to identify sunburn yellowing vs overwatering yellowing or underwatering yellowing. Generally in succulents, if it is over or under watered, its leaves will start to become wrinkly rather than become yellow or discolored. Yellowing in succulents can also be caused by other things, like nutrient deficiencies, overheating, or root rot.
