How to revive Cymbidium Orchid

That Cymbidium orchid looks pretty dried out, but it might still have a chance! Here’s what the person can try:

Check the Bulbs – If any of the pseudobulbs (the thick, bulbous parts at the base) are still firm, the plant has a chance. If they're completely shriveled and dry, it might be too late.

Trim the Dead Parts – Cut off any fully dried-out leaves and dead roots with sterilized scissors. If there are any soft, mushy parts, remove them too.

Soak the Roots – If some roots are still alive (not completely shriveled or black), they can try soaking them in room-temperature water for about 20–30 minutes to rehydrate.

Repot in Fresh Medium – Use a fresh orchid mix (bark, perlite, and charcoal) in a pot with good drainage. Orchids don’t like sitting in soil.

Humidity Boost – Place the plant in a humid environment (like a clear plastic bag with some air holes) to help it recover. Just make sure it gets airflow to prevent mold.

Water Sparingly – Mist lightly or water only when the bark is completely dry. Overwatering can cause rot, so it's better to under-water than overdo it.

If the roots and pseudobulbs are completely gone, they might need to start fresh with a new orchid. But if there's still some life left, patience and proper care could help it bounce
