@GratifiedDamsii The color of the roots makes me nervous… are the mushy? Because if so, they’re rotting and should be removed immediately. You might still be able to grow more roots if the stem wasn’t rotted at all. If they’re not mushy, then planting him in soil will help him grow more than water will.
