How can I help my overwatered flowers?
I recently became a new plant parent and I believe I've severely overwatered this plant. I repotted today, and I'm hoping that helps, but does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? - or am I too late? #AskGreg #PleaseDontDie

Repotting was a good move.
To help it to overcome overwatering, put it in a sunnier spot and also where there may be better airflow, this will allow the plant to dry out. And also water from the bottom (eg in a tray the pot is sitting in, if it has drainage holes) rather than top watering the soil. This will allow the plant to get back to better dryer before you return it the its usual spot, etc. Hope this helps. The best way to check if you overwater is to put your finger or a skewer into the soil and check if it feels wet. And allow the plant to dry a little between watering (so the top of the soil at least feels dry).
Overwatering is one of the most common issues with plants so it takes practice to get each plant's water needs right.
Hope this helps, all the best.
