Neem Oil Expired

Hello πŸ‘‹ I have this bottle from neem oil but I check the date today to oil expired 1 month can I use it or not for I sure I can’t buy new one cuz no way to find it here, someone bring it to me from USA
Yes, neem oil does expire. Here's a general guideline for its shelf life:
* Unopened neem oil: 1-2 years if stored properly
* Mixed neem oil solution: 8 hours
It's always best to check the manufacturer's label for specific expiry dates, as you have. So based on the fact that it's just one day over the expiry date I would say that you're probably safe to use it but when you look at the times above as to how long it'll be active Note that it only is active in a solution after you mix it to use for 8 hours. So you need to get with it on using any mixed solution..
Sorry in my response I misspoke. I meant to say one month over the expiry date not one day but I still think you're good to use it.
I was going to say exactly the same as Ivy @hederahelix) 😊 I'm generally not a fan of expiry dates! They're misleading and encourage people to throw perfectly good produce away rather than learn how to keep it fresh! (They're disappearing in the UK thankfully!) But Neem Oil isn't had an effectivity period and for that reason I would say yes it's probably safe to use, but it may not be as effective as it should be! Do if your using it to shine leaves, probably no bother, if your using it to fight pests... I would get a new one; lol 🀣 xx
@HederaHelix @JenniB81 thanks , i will try to use it this week I have some plant have pests and try to find new one , @JenniB81 but really it’s safe to use it for shiny leaves ? How mix it with water or directly
Yep! I’m throwing my hat in to say it’s usually good for about a year past the date. Since Covid, I’ve told my kids expiration dates are more like suggestions. πŸ˜‰ Except milk. πŸ˜†
@sarah10orio Hahaha It made me feel comfortable, I just wanted a little encouragement to use it، thx
