They should be compact...if it's leggy, it's starving for light. Move to get as much sunlight as possible but not direct. Trim back the leggy just above the nodes... The light is crucial. My daughter has one and the are easy to propagate...so keep the cuttings and make more! Also, rotate your plant everyday to face a new area into the direction of the light.
@WinChaya30 yes, just donβt mess about with the LED ones. Like @WormWarriorFarm said, full spectrum is best.
