They should be compact...if it's leggy, it's starving for light. Move to get as much sunlight as possible but not direct. Trim back the leggy just above the nodes... The light is crucial. My daughter has one and the are easy to propagate...so keep the cuttings and make more! Also, rotate your plant everyday to face a new area into the direction of the light.

Yes, in fact they are great. Keep them around 12 to 18" above the tallest leaves. 10 to 12 hours per day. Find a Full Spectrum grow light for it.
Grow lights also help them to grow more evenly...
