I keep finding the amount Greg suggests I water is too hi...

#Aglaonema
7ft to light, indirect
7” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 day ago
Hi Dan, yes I find the Greg app suggests watering my plants too much. I use what gardeners call the chopstick test. That is putting a chopstick down in the soil. Be careful not to disturb the roots. Place a chopstick all the way down to the bottom of the pot. If soil is sticking to the chopstick, then the soil is too wet. οΏΌ I hope this helps. Good luck.
I know the agloanema needs constant moisture and I believe it's getting this, but the leaves curl a little. Room humidity is between 50/60%, never colder than 18C. Not sure what's going on.
You can swipe left to snooze the reminder for three days. The app will eventually learn and adjust the watering frequency. I find that seasonal adjustments are needed throughout the year so it's always good to do the chopstick test as @MalagueΓ±a recommends 😊 Best of luck πŸͺ΄βœ¨οΈπŸ‘
