@FitLime82 yes, they will need a good pot with drainage holes to grow well. It’s quite risky to have a plant in a jar or container without drainage holes, and increases your chances of root rot, among other things! You probably don’t want to wait until they are starting to decline, before repotting.
You should definitely get a put with a drainage hole and the plant will do better if it is sticking out of the pot to make sure it gets enough sun and soak up humidity from the air.
