Brown spots in my umbrella

Hello there!

We got this beautiful umbrella but in the last 3 weeks I noticed these spots in her leaves and also misshapen leaves. Any idea? What could be the issue and how to solve it?

@DinkumGymealily These guys are so hardy and easy care ,I’m sorry to say it looks like you may have a pest of some sort . It also likes filtered sunlight . Inspection time if it is a pest you can mix diatomaceous earth to top layer of soil and dust the leaves ,it’s extra gentle seeing it is food grade and natural . . Or you can try neem oil . I hope this helps some . You got this .As you see mine is very close to window and thriving there .
Umbrella plants tolerate the occasional dryness better than too much moisture. Allow the soil to dry between waterings, and check if it is dry to the touch before watering again. But as Deb mentioned it might be a pest.
