New Swallowtail is STRUUUGLING
#SwallowtailPlant I recently bought my swallow tail and have positioned it indoors it’s yellowing quite fast and has some curled green leaves despite being regularly watered. Help!

@HeroineMayapple When someone says „regularly watered„ that gives me pause. Do you check the soil for moisture before watering? To avoid yellow leaves on a Swallowtail plant (which is a houseplant, not related to the butterfly), provide bright, indirect light, water only when the top inch of soil is dry to prevent overwatering and root rot, use a well-draining potting mix, and ensure the plant receives moderate to high humidity and a balanced liquid fertilizer during the growing season. Addressing these conditions, especially water and light, will help maintain healthy, vibrant leaves. Is this plant really in a terracotta pot or is it a glaze clay/ceramic pot? I ask because glazed clay is less porous than just plain terracotta. Terracotta that is not glazed lets the soil dry out and the roots breathe which is essential for them to be able to absorb nutrients and water.
