I am new to the plant world. Just got this money tree for...

I'll start with the Venus fly trap. They need full direct sunlight, at least 6 hours a day, which is very hard to replicate indoors without very strong grow lights. They should only be bottom watered using distilled, never tap water. Place the pot inside a dish and fill the dish with distilled water whenever you notice it's empty. Fly traps have very specific care needs, so I recommend this care guide on the California Carnivores website:

For your money tree, the first thing I always recommend is checking the base of the trunks for rubber bands. Growers use them to hold the separate trees together, and if they're not removed they'll lead to issues such as stunted growth. They should be within 3 feet of a bright window, but not so close that direct sun hits their leaves (can burn them). Let the soil almost completely dry out between waterings to avoid root rot. That pot looks awfully small, so it will likely need to be repotted soon. The new pot should be no more than 2-3" bigger than the current pot. For soil, mix regular indoor potting soil with perlite and orchid bark (3 parts soil, 2 parts bark, 1 part perlite). The bark and perlite create air pockets in the soil, helping oxygen reach the roots. Without them, most potting soils are far too dense. When dense soil is wet, it starts to compact around the roots, cutting off their oxygen supply and suffocating them.
