begonia can be probagated from stem cutting, and even just the leaves.
you can also try placing the stem horizontally on a bed of damp sphagnum moss or a perlite/potting mix blend in a clear plastic container and cover it with a lid or plastic wrap to trap moisture, creating a "mini-greenhouse" effect. this might stimulate new leaves to sprout.

I made a post about what I do with mine recently. Several of the stems were like this too and made the whole pot fall over lol. You could try propagating one of them and seeing if new leaves sprout, and if it works out pop it back in the same pot to create a more bushy look? 😊
